Over 70% of secondary school students in Nepal attend community schools. While school enrollment has grown, educational quality and market relevance remain severe bottlenecks.

  • The Practical Skills Deficit Students graduate lacking operational digital literacy, career direction, and soft skills required by the modern labor market.
  • Absence of Career Guidance Structured career counseling is virtually absent in public secondary schools, leading to skill mismatches and underemployment.
  • Gender Disparities in STEM Adolescent girls face deep socio-cultural constraints, resulting in severe underrepresentation in technical and leadership sectors.
